Greetings

Welcome to K-TECH @ Silicon Valley 2014!

Greetings from Minister of Science Choi, Yanghee

We are in the midst of the rapidly changing global economic paradigm. Devices, people and information will become all connected to communicate with one another to create a ‘new connected ecosystem’.

In the heart of this new paradigm, there exists the creation of new value and market with the union of the various sectors of technologies and industries. And Internet of Things is in the pivot of the creation and convergence.

By increasing the exchange and cooperation, we hope for more creation of ‘the Economic Cooperation Model’ from which both countries can benefit. And we hope K-Tech Silicon Valley 2014 can be a platform for you to expand your opportunities for more cross border collaboration.

We sincerely wish you enjoy the conference and the programs and join us in

achieving more innovative and productive partnership between the US and Korea.

Thank you for joining us at K-Tech Silicon Valley 2014.

Sincerely,

Greetings from Congressman Michael M. Honda

It gives me great pleasure to welcome everyone to the 2014 K-TECH Silicon Valley Conference hosted by the Korean Trade Investment Promotion Agency.

Since 1962, Korean Trade Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) has provided critical support for Korean businesses to extend their overseas services to communities here in Northern California. In addition to financial growth, KOTRA improves business relationships through corporate social responsibility, and facilitating open dialogue among government, business, labor, and management to promote prosperity.

Today’s conference embodies KOTRA’s mission in technological innovation and financial growth, as well as service and commitment to our community.

On behalf of the residents of the 17th Congressional District, I think Korea Trade Investment Promotion Agency for organizing today’s event and offer my best wishes for its success.

Sincerely,

Michael M. Honda

Member of Congress
